Trial of the Hierarch

One day, an enormous amount of ether erupted from the ground in a shimmering pillar of light, that could be seen from many miles away. With this eruption came ghostly beings born from the ether that now haunt the land.

Now, you must set out to dispel these creatures and uncover what lies beneath the mountain.

This is a reimagining of my previous game, Legend of Hierarch. This game adds a few new features, such as scrolling backgrounds, more animation, and a more complex weapon and scoring system.

Controls:

Z: Fire main weapon

X: Fire sub-weapon

C: Switch between available sub-weapons

V: Use bomb

Fire your main weapon at enemies to make them drop white ingots that build up your score multiplier and sub-weapon power, then use your sub-weapon to make them drop colored ingots to score and refill your life energy!
